Community Holler Holiday Bash ft. Son of Ray, Rotary Park, Mitch Belot Band, Carter Felker, The Hillties
Our third annual music and art event is a gathering of friends and community to raise money for local charity. Everyone is invited and all are welcome. Our goal is to throw an awesome party featuring some of Calgary’s best original bands and artists while creating positive vibrations and connections in our community. We do so in the name of rock and roll, in the spirit of the holidays, and most importantly to raise money for two amazing local charities, The Doorway Program (moving off the street) & The Drop In Centre Art Beat Stage (music as medicine). This year we’ll be rockin it at The Nite Owl on Friday December 4th , 9 PM sharp. Tickets are $15. $5 from every ticket sold goes directly to charity. Gather your friends, put on your dancing shoes, and come help make it something special.
There will be live music all night with Son Of Ray, Rotary Park, Mitch Belot Band, Carter Felker, and The Hillties. Local Artist Kristen Rendell will also be displaying and selling her art. There will be awesome community donated raffle prizes to be won as well. Hope to see you all out there !

The Bitterweed Draw Album Release with Devonian Gardens & Rotary Park
Welcome to the West presents the opening night of the School House concert series at Inglewood's Festival Hall with the highly anticipated sophomore record, ‘Dynamite Mountain’ by raucous honky tonk six-piece, The Bitterweed Draw. While staying true to their swaggering roots, ‘Dynamite Mountain’ exposes a dark and diverse album that has aged like fire whiskey in an oak cask barrel. Rotary Park and Devonian Gardens will be joining the bill for this boot stomping, joyous western occasion.
3rd Annual Doppelsingers
The third annual Doppelsingers unites some of Calgary’s coolest original artists with other Alberta songwriters. They blow the lid wide open, creating fresh approaches to familiar and not-so-familiar tunes. Indie artists ‘cover’ funk tunes, hip-hop artists take a stab at country music and pop artists try their hand at folk. Previous artists include Axis of Conversation, JJ Shiplett, Copperhead, Hello Moth, the 6L6s, Polyjesters, T Buckley, SAVK, Astral Swans and Raleigh (and more) who performed songs written by artists from across the musical spectrum: the Dudes, James Keelaghan, Kris Demeanor, Tom Phillips, Jr. Gone Wild, the Cape May, Feist, Field Day, Anne Loree, Corb Lund, the Stampeders and even Nickelback!
This years artists: Alright Gents, Boreal Sons, Heather Blush, Jon Gant, Kris Demeanor, Lynn Olagundoye, Mariel Buckley and Matt Olah, Rotary Park and the Heirlooms cover the songs of Cowpuncher, Kris Demeanor, Feist, Jocelyn Alice x Hello Moth, Jerry Jerry and the Sons of Rhythm, Cadence Weapon, Lorrie Matheson, Leeroy Stagger, Wendy McNeill, Mark Mills, Night Committee, Chad Vangaalen, Maud, the Dudes, Clinton St. John, Art Bergmann, the Cape May, Big Sugar, Joni Mitchell, k.d. Lang and the Neutral States!
